About

I first started out my career path with a passion for health care, but after working in the field of nursing for several years, I could not resist my desire to study and practice make up artistry. Now, many of the skills I have learned as a registered nurse I use every day as a freelance make up artist! I bring a calm, caring and patient energy to every job, along with diligent sanitation practices.

I have been lucky enough to learn from respected leaders in  make up at College of Make Up Art & Design in Toronto. In June 2016, I completed my Comprehensive Make Up Art Diploma program and graduated in the top 3 of my class.

My education included Fashion and Photographic Make Up, Theatre, Film, TV, Special Effects and Prosthetics.

I specialize in film, TV and commercial work and am a permit in IATSE 873. I am also available for bridal, print and fashion.

Over the past few years, I have also been hired by the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to teach film and special effects make up workshops for school field trips, TIFF kids summer camps and for the Reel Comfort program on inpatient mental health units!

COVID-19 has brought about many changes to our industry. I am continuing to stay up to date on best practice guidelines for maintaining health and safety with my actors and clients. I take cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation seriously and you will see this reflected in my kit and methods. You may also browse my newly added tab Certificates/Education to see how I am keeping up to date!
